MR. WILLIAM H. LEACH
Mr. William H. Leach, resident of Ramsay township for half-a-century, died on Sunday in a Ottawa hospital. For the last three years he made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Jas. H. Saunders, at Westboro. Mr. Leach was in his 84th year. He was a native of Beckwith township and spent his early life there, before taking up residence in Ramsay, His wife, whose maiden name was Eliza Jane Lynch, predeceased him seven years ago. Surviving besides his daughter, are two sons, Daniel of Sudbury and William of Ramsay and a halfbrother, Archie Byron of Almonte. The funeral was held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. from the home of Mr. George L. Comba, to St. Paul's Anglican Church and thence to the cemetery vault. Service was conducted by Rev. J.C. Anderson. The pallbearers were: - Wm Lynch, W. Lynch, R. Neil, E. Nicholson, N. Paul and J. Saunders.
