GOLDEN - Anthony Wayne "Tony" Gurley, 40, died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012, at North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born in Selmer, Tenn., on Oct. 30, 1971, and was a logger.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Antioch Baptist Church in Golden with Bro. Skippy Rowland officiating. Burial will be in Hodge Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home in Belmont will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Amanda Gurley of Golden; three children, Andrea Michelle Gurley, Kristy Marie Gurley and Wesley James Gurley; his mother, Brenda Hodum (James) of Pochahontas, Tenn.; one sister, Tonya Baker of Hornsby, Tenn.; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Larry and Nola Underwood of Golden.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Wayne Gurley.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today at Antioch Baptist Church and continue until service time on Friday.
