His wife Levyna is shown in the Forsyth Co., GA Salt List dated June 1863 as "Lena" a "widow with sons in the army"; thus, Robert probably died in Forsyth Co., GA between the Forsyth Co. Census of 05 Jul 1860 and the Forsyth Co. Salt List of June 1863.
