Per obit she was the widow of Dr. H. Frederic Lombard and the daughter of Luther A. and Catherine Hall Lull. She was married to the Dr. in Springfield, Mass. in 1908 and they moved to Lebanon, PA. He was a dentist. She had been living in Norwich with her sister who was ill when she died.

John S Brodie married Clara Belle on 4 Oct 1905.

He passed away the following Spring, 27 Apr 1906 after only 7 months of marriage.

He was from Binghamton, NY and was brought back there for burial with his family at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Johnson City.

I have been working on his family in Binghamton for some time, they are indirectly related to me through my maternal great grandmother's family.

I have several different documents on them, including Clara Belle's appearance in Chenango County Court as her husband's Executrix. Here's one newspaper article from Chenango County - sadly the header is cut off in the microfilm, so I do not know the publisher, but I believe it tells all you need for confirmation:

The body of John S. Brodie, late proprietor of the St. James Hotel, who died suddenly Friday, was taken to Binghamton, his former home, for burial. Mr. Brodie had been here about seven months and formerly conducted the Commercial House at Greene. On October 4 he was married to Miss Clara Lull, of Greene, who survives him.
