Age 76, of Elmira Heights, NY, died on Tuesday, November 3, 2009, at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. He was born on June 22, 1933 in Elmira, NY to the late Howard and Ruth (Duke) Hartman. George was predeceased by his brothers, Donald and Dennis Hartman; and sister, Beverly Reedy. Survivors include his wife, Melody (Weston) Hartman of Elmira Heights; sister, Ann Bacome of Elmira Heights; step-children, Shana Weston of Horseheads and Stuart Cummings of Tioga, PA; niece, Brenda (Mike) Johnson of KY; along with several other nieces and nephews. It was George's wish that no services be held. Arrangements have been entrusted to the James D. Barrett Funeral Home.
