Chester was the 14th of 15 children and was ten minutes younger than his twin brother, Lester. After growing up in Kline, Colorado, Chester served in the U. S. Army during WWII in the European Theater. Chester worked at various professions including auto mechanic and Geneva Steel for 17 years. He was an active member of the LDS Church and served faithfully in many callings.
He is survived by his wife Phyllis of Pleasant Grove; four children: Sharlet (Richard) Laws, Orem; Donna Jeppson, Cedar Hills; Penny (Russell) Evans, Brigham City and Troy (Shellie) Slade, Alpine; 15 grandchildren and 22 1/2 great grandchildren and brother, James (Shirley) Slade, Lewis, CO.
