Jonas, born in Weisenberg Township, was the son of Jonas and Carolyn (Buck) Knerr and husband of Elizabeth Kinsell.
His death notice and death certificate both listed him as J. B. Jones. Information for his death certifcate was supplied by his sister.

Funeral services were held at the grave in Oakdale Cemetery Tuesday at 3 o'clock P. M. for J. B. Jones, an inmate of the County Home, who died in the home several days earlier.
