Leonard K. Warren, 82, 1318 Fairfax St., died Thursday at Americana Health Care following an extended illness.

He was born August 11, 1908, in Pulaski, Tenn., from where he moved to Anderson in 1955. He had been employed for 24 years as custodian and lawn serviceman at Anderson College and was self-employed as a farmer.

He was a member of Park Place Church of God, where he had been an usher for more than 20 years, Bunker Hill Church of God in Tennessee, and was honored by Anderson College Alumni Association for his support to the students.

Survivors include his wife, Zella (Beaman) Warren, whom he married in 1965; a son, Dr. Aaron Warren of Cassopolis, Mich.; two stepsons, Kuhrman L. Hull of Muncie and Dr. Joel I. Hull of Chesterton; a brother, Leon Warren of Lewisburg, Tenn.; five sisters, Myrtle Richardson and Myrom Pruett, both of Pulaski, Tenn., Edna Hodges of Anderson, Gladys Johnson of Fayetteville, Tenn., and Dorothy Pardon of Missouri; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Drs. Don Johnson, Gene Newberry, Glenn Falls and Harold Phillips officiating. Burial will be at East Maplewood Cemetery.

Friends may call from 1:30 p.m. until the time of service Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Anderson University School of Nursing.
