He was born July 12, 1884, the son of Thomas and Isabelle Bass Pyron.
He was married to Bertha Snider March 1, 1907, in Murphysboro.
A retired farmer, Mr. Pyron was a member of Crain Baptist Church in Ava.
He leaves his wife; daughters, Mrs. Mabel Barringer of East St. Louis, Mrs. Helen Varnum of Ava, Mrs. Gertrude Cross of Granite City and Mrs. Vera June Baumgartner of Centralia; sons, Ernest of Chandler, Ariz., Warren of Tempe, Ariz., and Lester of Murphysboro; and 20 grand-children and 28 great-grandchildren.
Three sons preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in the Crawshaw Mortuary Chapel in Murphysboro with the Rev. Floyd Jones officiating.
Burial will be in Crain Cemetery in Ava. ...
