Tommy Edward "Skeet" McMinn, 66, an electrical untility construction supervisor, died Monday, April 17, 2000, in Fort Worth. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Greenwood Funeral Home.
Graveside service: 10 a.m. Friday in Greenwood Memorial Park.
Memorials: American Cancer Society and/or Cook Children's Medical Center.
Tommy Edward "Skeet" McMinn was born Sept. 5, 1934, in Dallas. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church of Fort Worth. He was employed by Texas Electric Service Co. for 41 years and most recently, was employed with the Flowers Construction Co. He fulfilled his most recent dream by owning and flying his own aircraft.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jo McMinn.
Survivors: Sons, Jim McMinn of Springfield, Mo., Trey Edward McMinn III and his wife, Stacie, Kirk Duane McMinn and his wife, DeeDee, all of Fort Worth, and Clayton Trent McMinn of Austin; grandchildren, Andrew, Jo, Tanner, Payton and one expected grandchild, Taylor McMinn; and aunt, Katrena Cook Goodman.
