Hamilton Journal News, 12/18/1984:
Concetta "Katie" Milillo, age 89, who made her home with her son, Frank V. Milillo, 854 Wesleyan Dr., Fairfield passed away in Mercy Hospital of Hamilton Sunday morning at 4:45 am. She was born in Cincinnati on January 26, 1895, the daughter of Antonio & Mary (Lombardo) Rizzo. She was educated in the parochial schools of that city. In 1914, she & Frank V. Milillo were unitied in marriage & moved to Hamilton, where they owned & operated a wholesale & retail grocery at Eleventh & Ludlow St. He preceded her in death in 1937. She continued to operate the business until her retirement in 1978.
Survivors include her son, Frank V. Milillo, Fairfield; four daughters, Mrs. Carl (Esther) Ristaneo, Middletown, Mrs. Eldon (Mary) Theobald, Hamilton, Mrs. John F. (Antoinette) Moore, Tulsa, OK, & Mrs. Daniel (Marguerite) Amatulli, Franklin, OH; & 19 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, & a great-great-granddaughter in Italy. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Anthony J. Milillo on Sept. 5, 1982.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 9:30 am at the Colligan Funeral
Home, 437 S. Third St. A concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial will be entoned
at 10 am at St. Mary's Church Thursday. Burial will be on the family lot in St.
Mary's Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Wednesday from 5-9 pm.
