Robert Ewin McClaran, 87, of Hermitage, TN, passed away September 6, 2012. Funeral services were held Monday, Sept. 10, at 3 p.m. from the chapel of Hood Funeral Home. Bro. Zack Snyder officiated with burial at Crossville City Cemetery. Full military honors were given.
He was born Sept. 30, 1924, in Rutherford County, TN, the son of Robert and Lottie Sherrill McClaran.
He was retired from retail sales with Variety Wholesale Distributors in Mobile, AL, and was also a United States Army veteran. He was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Gary McClaran; brothers, Alvie and Quinton McClaran; and sister, Bobbie Summitt.
