Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Friday at the Walling Cemetery near Malone, with Rev. Joe Ardy officiating.
Mr. Loewe was born May 1, 1940 in Hill County, the son of Adolph and Ida Loewe. He served his country with the United States Army from 1961 to 1964. He worked for K.D. Manitou, Inc. as a forklift operator for the past 20 years. He was a Lutheran.
Survivors include two brothers, Eugene H. Loewe of Hillsboro and Orville A. Loewe of Malone; one sister, Marilyn H. Bates of Gatesville; 10 nieces and nephews; 16 great-nieces and nephews; and one great-great-niece.
