Actor. He will perhaps be best remembered for playing ‘Colonel Roderick Decker’, pursuer of "The A Team" in the 1980s television series of the same title. Born in Chicago, Illinois, his father was of French-Canadian origin, his mother was of Slavic-Jewish parentage. He received an athletic scholarship to play football at the University of Wichita in Kansas, and while attending there, he earned a degree in Business. He gravitated to the motion picture industry and due to his sturdy physique he was initially a stuntman for singer Elvis Presley in the pictures "Kissin' Cousins" (1964) and "Roustabout" (1964). This opened the door for him to gradually land acting parts in both features, as well as television and with his low, graveled-voice which he possessed, he was usually cast in military officer and menacing roles. In addition to "The A Team", LeGault had played ‘Colonel Buck Greene’ in television detective series "Magnum, P.I." and ‘Alamo Joe Rogan’ in "Werewolf" (1987 to 1988).
