CHRISTINA F FLORES was born in 1935 in Barstow, CA and passed away on Wed., August 8, 2012 in San Bernardino, CA after a long illness. She was 76. She was a longtime Barstow resident and was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend. While her mother, Alejandra, was blind for the last 10 years of her life, Christina unconditionally cared for her. Throughout her life as a Homemaker, Christina enjoyed caring for her nieces, nephews, relatives, & friends. She loved listening to "canciones rancheras" Mexican music & lived her Christian faith every day. She was a private person who was always ready to help others. May she rest in peace! She is preceded in death by her parents, Cesario & Alejandra Flores; sister, Claudia Veloz; brothers, Guadalupe, Santiago, Concepcion, Bernardo, Margarito, Rudolfo, & Geronimo. She is survived by her brother, John; numerous nieces, nephews, & cousins. Memorial services will be held on Friday, September 14, 2012 as follows: Rosary at 9 A.M.; Mass at 10 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 505 E. Mtn. View St., Barstow, CA. Deacon Margarito Saenz will officiate. Following the Mass, graveside/inurnment services will be held at Mtn. View Memorial Park, 37067 Irwin Rd., Barstow, CA.
