VESTA MARGARET DUNGER
Vesta Margaret Dunger of Seaside, a former Portland resident, died of causes related to age Wednesday in a Seaside hospital. She was 95.
At her request, no service will be held.
She was born Feb. 12, 1895, in Albany. She had lived in Portland from the early 1900s until she moved to Seaside during the mid-1940s. Mrs. Dunger worked as a cashier for Montgomery Ward & Co. in Portland for more than 13 years.
After moving to Seaside, Mrs. Dunger and her husband, Max Dunger, owned and operated the Motor Court Apartments for a number of years. Mr. Dunger died in 1970.
She is survived by her cousin, Ervin Walsh of Sherwood.
Private interment will be in Portland Memorial Mausoleum.
