Robert Harman Bowersox, of Carlisle, died September 10, 2012 in Camp Hill.
Born April 24, 1924 in Hanover, he was a son of the late Daniel W. and Gertrude Harman Bowersox and the widower of Betty Brenneman Bowersox.
He was a graduate of Carlisle High School, Class of 1943.
Robert retired from the U.S. Naval Depot, Mechanicsburg.
Mr. Bowersox was a member of First Lutheran Church, Carlisle. He was a member of both the Cumberland Star Lodge #197 and the Harrisburg Consistory for 50 years. Also, he was a member of the American Legion Post 101, Carlisle, NARFE and AARP. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Surviving are numerous nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Mary Jane Wilson of Carlisle.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., September 17, 2012 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, Carlisle, with Rev. Charles A. Brophy officiating. Burial will be in Letort Cemetery, Carlisle.
