Bethel J. Huff, 73, of 942 W. CR. 400 N., died at 1:20p.m. Saturday October 16, 2004, in Jasper County Hospital. She had been ill for a year.
Born September 20, 1931, in Rensselaer, she was a lifelong Jasper County resident and graduated from Wheatfield High School in 1949.
She married James J. Huff on June 17, 1950, in Rensselaer. He survives.
Mrs. Huff was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Gifford Church of God.
Surviving with her husband are three sons, William "Bill" Huff (wife: Bonnie) of Portage, Ron Huff (wife Vicki) of Francesville, and Mike Huff (wife Becky) of Rensselaer; a daughter Kathy Duley (husband Ward) of Rensselaer, and five brothers, James R. Campbell of Rensselaer, Raymond Campbell (wife Maudeline) of San Pierre, Forrest "Fuzz" Campbell (wife Linda) of Rensselaer, Donald Campbell (wife Cathy) of West Lafayette, and Gerald "Jerry" Campbell (wife Doris) of Rensselaer.
Visitation 3-8p.m. today, October 18, 2004 at Steinke Funeral Home, Rensselaer.
Services there 10 a.m. Tuesday October 19, 2004, Pastor Gary Menard officiating.
Survivors include 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, and nieces.
Preceded in death by her parents Ernest J. and Dorothy Timmons Campbell. Family suggest memorials to Gifford Church of God in lieu of flowers.
