Sylvia Eulalia ( Frazier ) Hetrick left this world to join her heavenly Father and her loved ones who had gone before on July 5, 2009. She was born Feb. 11, 1928, to Claude and Cora Frazier .

Being raised during The Depression in a very large family (six bothers and sisters and 14 half and step siblings) was not easy. Sylvia was quite an accomplished poet and has left her family with three volumes of her poetry. Many of these poems are about growing up years as well as tales about many family members.

Her husband, Budd Sr. passed away in 1961, leaving her to raise her three young children (Budd Jr., Rhonda and Pam) alone. Over the years she worked at the Middleton Merc, Dairyman's Creamery and retired from Albertson's as a checker in the Caldwell store.

In her later years, Sylvia was an active member of St. David's Episcopal Church in Caldwell. She made several close friends at St. David's and enjoyed the "lunch bunch."

Sylvia is survived by her three children and their spouses: Budd Jr. (Sharlene) of Placerville, Rhonda Moyer (Harry) of Marsing and Pam Louisignant (Dale) of New Meadows; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; four brothers (Virgil, Bud, Delwin and Elwin) and three sisters (Vena, Cora and Arlayne).

Although she will be dearly missed, those of us left behind will take comfort knowing she will once again be with her beloved husband for eternity.

At Sylvia's request there will be no formal services. A family gathering in her honor and memory will be held and private disbursement of ashes held.
