Graduated from Boston University in 1915. Commissioned a 2nd LT of Cavalry in 1917. Colonel Green served as the Military Governor of the Territory of Hawaii during the period of Martial Law, in World War II, from 1941 to 1944. Maj. Gen. Green later served as the Judge Advocate General of the Army, from 1945 until his retirement from the Army in 1949. Veteran of WW-I and WW-II.
