Mary was a homemaker, raising 7 children. She was an avid gardener. She enjoyed her beautiful gardens and sharing her flowers with friends and family. Mary loved her kids and grandkids and was most happy rocking the many babies. She was best-known for her chocolate chip cookies and her beautiful quilts. She also enjoyed car rides and traveling. Reno was a favorite destination.
Mary is survived by daughters, Patty Bailes of Ellensburg, Barbara Williams of Seattle, Linda (Ray) Young of Port Orchard, Judy (Bob) Metcalf of Silverdale, Lorree (Gary) Kent of Port Orchard; daughter-in-law, Kathy DeBolt of Bremerton; sister, Aggie Kusske of Tacoma; 22 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Ora DeBolt; son, Ron DeBolt; daughter Peggy Emigh; great granddaughter, Molly Bailes; foster daughter Jolene Hutchinson, Francis, Trix, Jerry Watts and 1 sister Virginia Lundstrom.
A graveside service will be held at Sunset Lane in Port Orchard on Monday, November 17, 2008, at 1 p.m. with a reception following at Rill Chapel.
