"Lord, for your faithful people, life has changed not ended." Roman Ritual. A retired employee of Exxon Refinery and a native and resident of Denham Springs, he passed away at his home at 3 a.m. Friday, Feb. 13, 2009. He was born on May 18, 1926. Visitation at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, on Sunday, Feb. 15, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visitation resumes at the funeral home on Monday, Feb. 16, from 8:30 a.m. until service in the chapel at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Jeff Bayhi, celebrant. Interment in Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery. Survived by his wife of 63 years, Ora Altazin Annison; daughters and sons-in-law, Gail and Robert Corbin, Zachary, Linda and Paul Lawrence, Descanso, Calif., and Susan Baker, Metairie; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Shannon Annison, Denham Springs; grandchildren, Shannon Baker, Cherie and Reggie Jenkins, and Robert and Casey Corbin; four stepgrandchildren, Kenneth and Paul C. Lawrence, and Hunter and Laney Breaux; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Daniel R. Annison, Denham Springs, and Henry B. Annison, Oceanside, Calif.; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by a daughter, Joan Marie Annison; and his parents, Thomas James and Etta Jones Annison. His family brought much joy to his life. Pallbearers will be James H. Summers, Robert Corbin, Paul Lawrence, Robert Corbin II, Reggie Jenkins II, Justin Baker, Lance Baker and Henry B. Annison Jr. Honorary pallbearers are Daniel R. Annison, Henry B. Annison, Louis Altazin III, Robert Graves, Doug Jones, John Anderson and Roux Jones. Our thanks to family and friends and St. Joseph's Hospice for the love, support and care given during this time. Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph's Hospice, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or a charity of your choice.
