Sheila Jean Stockton Garner was born January 9, 1961 and departed this life Friday, September 7, 2012 reaching the age of 51. She was the daughter of the late Charlie and Ellen Stockton.
On February 21, 1976, she was united in marriage to Gerald Garner; whom survives her. She is also survived by: sisters, Kathy Tuggle, Daphne Crouch, Sharon Brown, Lois Shaw and Mary Sue Gregory; brothers, Charlie and Bob Stockton; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: 2 nephews, Jordan Crouch and Andy Stockton; sister, Gaye Weston; brothers, John and Donnie Stockton.
She accepted Christ as her Savior and was baptized May 2011.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 from 5 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home with Bro. Darrell Ragan officiating. Burial will be in Cabell Grove Cemetery.
