Dr. Mercer lived in Virginia most of his adult life. Raised in Hersery PA. he attended college at Lebanon Valley. Later in life he went on to complete his education at VCU and Eastern Virginia Medical School, Norfolk VA., earning a MD and specializing in Family Practice. He passed suddently of a heart attack while practicing Medicine in the Dallas/Ft. Worth TX area. His ashes will be laid to rest when his children choose where they want to have them interred. He was a Veteran and also a very talented person who always accomplished whatever goal he set out to conquer. He is very much loved and missed by his family and friends.
