An Aged Woman Dead
Mrs Julia A Marks Passed Away at Pittsburg
Mrs Julia A Marks, mother of Mrs Joseph Shilling of this city, died in Pittsburgh yesterday at the residence of Mrs L A Ward, with whom she was making her home. Mrs Marks was eighty-four years of age and was born in Cumberland, the daughter of Peter Garry(sic) who died many years ago. He was also a native of Cumberland and resided here nearly all of his life. She was united in marriage to Harvey C Marks early in life. Her husband died about thirty years ago. Mrs Marks is survived by three daughters and one son. She was well known in Cumberland, having in late years spent her winters here with her daughter, Mrs Shilling. During the summer months, she resided with another daughter, Mrs S B Tedrow in Glade, Pa. The funeral services will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at Glade, Pa.
