Services for Eileen F. Erwin will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Schindewolf Stevens Stout Funeral Home in Kenton by Pastor Chuck Zweizig and the Rev. Wayne T. Vaughn. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call 4-7 p.m. today.
She died at 10:25 a.m. Friday, Jan. 14, 2011 at the Triumph Hospital in Lima.
She was born March 25, 1919 in Toledo to Joseph and Garnet (Emfield) Adkins. On Sept. 6, 1939, she married Daniel W. Erwin in Columbia City, Ind., and he preceded her in death on Oct. 4, 1975.
Surviving are a son, Daniel (JoAnn) Erwin of Kenton; a daughter, Kay (Gary) Stauffer of Kenton; six grandchildren, Jolene Kieffer, Eric (Jada) Erwin, Eugena "Gina" (Ryan) Rogers and Heather Erwin, all of Kenton, Christine (Wes) Davis of Patterson and Paul (Debbie) Erwin of Pickerington; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and a special friend, Michael Robinson of Kenton.
She was preceded in death by a great-grandchild and a brother.
She was the owner of Kenny's Grocery and Candy Store in Kenton.
Eileen was known as the "Candy Lady" to many.
