"Harry Olof Lindberg, 58, of 1946 So. Sheridan Ave., died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born in Sweden and had lived in Tacoma since 1909. A retired carpenter, he formerly worked for the Foss Tug Company. He was a member of the Swedish Order of Vasa, Valhalla Lodge and the carpenter's Union.

Surviving him are his wife, Ellen, of Tacoma; one daughter Lucille Petersen; one grandson, Milo Petersen; one brother Conrad Lindberg, and two sisters, Mrs. Anna Derline of Olympia and Mrs. Signe Carlson of Portland. C.O. Lynn will announce the funeral arrangements." Date of death 25 Aug 1953; obit from the Tacoma News Tribune, 26 Aug 1953, pg. 26
