Delaware, Ia. -- Funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon in the Methodist Church at Delaware, for Mrs. L.V. Fleming, 76, who died Thursday. The Rev. L. Bonham of Delhi officiated. Pallbearers were John Saunders, Levi Kaster, George Yelden, Herman Zirtzman, and Henry Manson. Burial was made in Pine View Cemetery north of Delaware.

As Loretta V. Kibler, daughter of G.W. and Frances Kibler, she was born Oct. 20, 1867, at Arlington, Ohio. She accompanied her parents, her father being a Union soldier, to Colfax County, Neb in the Shell Creek precinct. After a residence there of seven years, the family moved to Platt County, Neb. Jan 1, 1865. She was married to L.P. Fleming at Creston, Neb., and they lived in Platt County until their removal to Delaware, Ia. Mr. Fleming died several years ago.

Survivors are two brothers, G.W. Kibler of Concord, Calif., and J.A. Kibler of Leigh, Neb.; and two sisters, Mrs. G. Texely of Hopkinton and Mrs. E.J. Thorpe of Earlville.
