A native of Roscoe, she was born June 13, 1893. She married Hill Spruiell Dec. 24, 1911 at Sweetwater and had lived in Iowa Park since 1919 moving here from Hubbard. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She and her husband, who died June 18, 1975, were the organizers of the Iowa Park Senior Citizens.
She is survived by six sons, Joel, Dewey, Dan, Glen, Bill and Walter, all of Iowa Park; a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Oualline of Oklahoma City. One son. Jack, preceded her in death. Other survivors include a brother, Clyde Nunn of Sweetwater; two sisters, Fannie Bonner of Sweetwater and Mary Allen of Rotan; 21 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Grandsons were pallbearers.
