DEATH OF GIRL, SIX
After a brief illness with acute enter-
itis, caused from eating too many
green apples, Mary C. Hammond, six
years old, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Frank Hammond of the Mountain
road, Mapteton, died Tuesday night.
Besides her parents, the child is sur-
vived by five sisters. Myrtle, Dorothy
Ruth, Mildred and Gladys Hammond,
and three brothers, Lynn. Lester
and Roy Hammond, all of Mapleton.
The funeral will be held tomorrow
afternoon at 2 o'clock, standard time,
from the residence. Rev. George
Booth of Mapleton will conduct the
services and burial will be at the
Shawnee cemetery.
