Miss M. Ethel Thompson, 73, retired Muskingum County school teacher of White Cottage, died in the Urban Rest Home at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday following an illness of several months.
Born near White Cottage, she was a daughter of George and Nancy (Glasgow) Thompson.
Miss Thompson was a member of the Reformed Presbyterian Church of White Cottage.
Surviving are three sisters, Misses Mary and Ella of the home and Mrs. Armour Cusac of Frazeysburg; a brother, Fred of New Concord and several nieces and nephews.
The body was removed to the William Thompson and Son Funeral Home at White Cottage, where friends may call after noon on Thursday.
