Floyd Mank, 81, of Warren, passed away at Parkview Hospital in Brunswick, April 29. Floyd was born in Bremen April 13, 1930, the son of Leroy and Nora Collamore Mank.

He attended local schools and worked for the State of Maine as a highway laborer for over 30 years.

Floyd loved to work and was busy all his life. He was always willing to help others in time of need. He loved to be out of doors. When he lived in Bremen, he opened and operated a mini farm, growing flowers and vegetables to sell. When he moved to Warren, he spent his time planting flowers and keeping his lawn immaculate. Floyd and Esther enjoyed traveling around the states, calling them mini cruises, and would set off for an adventure on a spur of the moment.

Floyd was predeceased by brothers, Raymond and Richard Mank and sister, Frances Benner.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Esther Miller Mank of Warren; daughter, Sharon Chapman of New Harbor; son, Stephen McLean and wife Jennifer of Winslow; granddaughters, Lynn Kitridge of Bristol and Laurie Lamarre of Nobleboro; 14 great-grandchildren; brothers, Donald Mank and wife Oriana of Nobleboro and David Mank and companion Francena Bennett of Bremen; sister, Barbara McLaughlin of Bristol; brother-in-law, Lemuel Miller of Finntown in Waldoboro; and sister-in-law, Marjorie Miller and husband Phil of Connecticut.

At the family's request there will be no services.
