Edward Pomajzl was born in Saline County on July 20, 1893 and passed away at a hospital in Lincoln after a short illness, April 8, 1945 at the age of fifty-one years, eight months, and eighteen days.
He attended country school when a boy and later helped his father on the farm. At the time of his death he was living on a farm northwest of Crete.
He leaves to mourn his passing two sisters, Mrs. Richard Vavra and Mrs. Henry Kubicek and two brothers, Fred and Steve, all living on farms near Crete. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vaclav Pomajzl, and one sister preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held at Kuncl Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 11 with Rev. K.O. Zavadil officiating. He was laid to rest in Crete Riverside Cemetery.
