George Alvy King, RD2, died last night at his home. He was 58 years old.
Mr. King, former caretaker of State roads in North Middleton Township, was born In Fayette County, a son of the late John H. and Sarah Kennedy King. He was a member of the North Middleton Church of God and the Moose Lodge, Carlisle.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Clara Cornman King; four daughters, Mrs. Chester C. Cornman, RD3; Mrs. Boyd E. Penner, RD5, and Mrs. Dean A. Barrick and Miss Isabel E King, RD4; three sons, George L., Philadelphia; William R., Star Route, and Charles E., at home: a sister, Mrs. Thomas Blackburn, Carlisle; a brother, John B. King, RD6; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. in the Shulenberger and Roth Funeral Home, 169 West High Street. Rev. Malius Davidson will officiate. Burial will be In the North Middleton Church of God Cemetery. Friends may call tomorrow night at the funeral home.
