Nellie Hall, 95, Rockwood, died Jan. 18, 1988 in Somerset Community Hospital. Born March 21, 1892 in Somerset County, daughter of Charles and Minerva (Barron) Trent. Survived by three sons, William of Ulysses, Pa., Richard of Rockwood and John L. of Millvale, Pa., three daughters, Mrs. Homer (Ruth) Brant, Rockwood, Mrs. Evelyn Thomas, Latrobe and Mrs. Dale (Dorothy) Stutzman, Somerset RD 5, also by two nieces, Miss Evelyn Feller, Alexandria, Va. and Mrs. Betty Leighty of Bedford County, 28 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, John L. in June 1948, also by three sons, one brother and two sisters. Lifelong member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Rockwood, and a member of the senior citizens group of Rockwood. Friends will be received in the William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood, Wednesday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and until 10 a.m. Thursday when the remains will be removed to St. Luke's Lutheran Church for services at 11 a.m. with Rev. Charles Hartbauer officiating. Interment, Rockwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her memory to the St. Luke's Lutheran Church Memorial Fund. Arrangements are under the direction of the Willliam J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood, with Francis Brady supervising.
