C.L. BIDDISON DIES IN WEST

Athens County relatives today learned of the death of Claudis L. Biddison, former Athens city engineer and for years a mining engineer and coal mine operator in West Virginia. Death occurred unexpectedly in Albuquerque, NM where he had gone for his health from his home in Charleston.

Mr. Biddison was the youngest son of the Late Thomas and Delilah Bryson Biddison of Trimble Township, who were the parents of 11 children. Surviving Mr. Biddison are is wife and a son, Jack Biddison, of Columbus, and a sister, Mrs. Chester Davis of Huntington, WV.

Mr. Biddison attended Ohio University for three years and was a member of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity. He was employed as a civil and mining engineer in Athens County for some time before going to West Virginia. Amon his brothers were the late Elmer G. Biddison (former Athens County treasurer), Silas and Garfield.

Plans for the funeral were not reporte by it was announced that interment will be made in Glouster.

Cladius L. Biddison married Mary L. Carpenter, daughter of Parker and Jane Cook Carpenter, on Nov. 11, 1914 in Athens County, Ohio.
