A son of William and Margaret (Foor) Smith. On December 25, 1907, he was united in marriage to Minnie Alice Burket, who survived him.

He was also survived by three daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Little of New Enterprise, and Miss Freeda G. Smith and Miss Phyllis E. Smith and an adopted son, Paul K. Smith, all of Everett.

He was survived by these brothers and sisters: Jennie Clapper of Hotschkiss, CO; Katherine Steele of New Enterprise; Alice Ritchey of Decater, PA; Gertrude Burket of Everett; Amanda Fickes of Bedford RD and Carrie Henderson, Simon Smith and Chester E., all of Bedford. Six grandchildren also survived him.

He was a member of the Everett Brethren Church.

Arrangements were by the Stewart Funeral Home in Everett. Services were held in the Everett Church of the Brethren with Rev. Stewart Kauffman officiating. Interment in Everett cemetery.
