Vona Vivian Green Terrell

Funeral services for Mrs. Vona Terrell, 49, resident of Texarkana for 12 years, who died at her home 3100 Pecan Street after an illness of four years, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the County Avenue Baptist Church with the Rev. G. D. Walters of County Avenue Baptist Church and the Rev. Charles O. Strong of the First Baptist Church of Magnolia, AR officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens.

Active pallbearers will be C. C. Rogers, Willie Miller, L. C. Harris, James Ferrell, David Elkins, and Guy Glover.

Honorary pallbearers will be the deacons of the County Avenue Baptist Church and other friends of the family.

Mrs. Terrell was a native of Stephens, AR and moved to Texarkana from Magnolia. She was a member of County Avenue Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, A. E. Terrell; one daughter, Mrs. Hazel Gene Swinney of Texarkana; a son, S-Sgt. Earl Wayne Terrell, stationed at Fort Campbell, KY; her mother, Mrs. Maude Green of Magnolia; two sisters, Mrs. Lola Hayes both of Magnolia and Mrs. Christine Brown of North Little Rock, AR; three brothers, Grady Green of Camden, AR; Howard Green of Port Arthur, TX; and Hilton Green of Pasadena, TX; her grandmother, Mrs. Mattie Short of Camden, AR; and two grand-daughters.
