After his death and her marriage to William Anderson, application was made for guardianship of the minor children: Flora E., Frank M., and Ida M. It is said that both Sylvester Hart and William Anderson were ministers and had served at Independence Church. There are also three Hart children buried at Independence Cemtery who died young, Elmer P. Hart, Nancy M. Hart, and James A. Hart.
