Ann V. Robinson Grubaugh
Mount Vernon - Ann V. Robinson Grubaugh, 81, of 113 E. Ohio Ave., Mount Vernon, died Tuesday, April 3, 2001, at her residence following a brief illness.
Ann was born April 24, 1919 in West Virginia and had spent most of her lifetime in the Mount Vernon area. She was retired from United Telephone Company where she had been employed 29 years as a telephone operator. She was a member of the Elks Lodge, AMVETS adn the VFW, all in Mount Vernon.
Surviving is her life companion of 40 years, Stanley E. Grubaugh of Mount Vernon, her daughter, Nelda (Don) Kreveski of Bridgeton, N.J., and her sister Oma Miller of Chesterville.
Besides her parents, a sister and two brothers preceded her in death.
Friends may call Thursday from 6 to 8 pm. at the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home in Mount Vernon where funeral service will be Friday at 10 am. with the Rev. Joe Blevins officiating. Burial will be in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
