Mrs. Millie Ann Sparks, 87, Cutler
resident, died Saturday morning
in the Flora Nursing Home at
Flora after an illness of two years.
Born March 9, 1873 in Carroll
county, she was the daughter of
John and Mary Jane Shaffer Ferrier.
She was married to William E.
Sparks in 1892. He died in 1933.
Mrs. Sparks was a member of the
Ball Hill Methodist church.
Surviving are four sons and a
daughter; Floyd of Lewisburg; Carl,
Glen and Veral, all of rural route
Cutler; and Mrs. Mary Sherman of
Cincinnati.
Rites were conducted from the
Carter funeral home Tuesday with
Rev. F. Kay Bass officiating. Burial
was in Ball Hill cemetery.
