Rita Elaine (Portner) Arnold, age 65, of St. Augustine, FL, formerly of Canal Winchester and Norwalk, OH, died Sunday, August 26, 2012 at her residence. Born April 14, 1947 in Norwalk to the late Ernest S. and Ercile E. (Lockwood) Portner, she was a graduate of Norwalk High School, and was a member of Brice United Methodist Church. Survived by her children, Jessica (Stephen Todd) Arnold-Todd, Canal Winchester, Douglas Arnold, Norwalk, Matthew Arnold, St. Augustine; grandchildren, Brayden and Brooklyn Todd, Weston and Maria Arnold, Blayne and Peyton Arnold; brother, Rowland Portner, Norwalk; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband Noel Arnold, III in 2006. Friends may visit 12Noon-2 p.m. Wednesday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester.
