MRS. WILLIAM N. BECKETT, OF GUILFORD, SUCCUMBS AT ROCKFORD HOSPITAL
Mrs. William N. Beckett, of Guilford township, died at Rockford hospital at 10 o'clock Thursday night. She was taken to the hospital at noon, suffering from heart trouble and grip complication. She had been seriously ill since Saturday.
Mrs. Beckett was 55 years of age. She was born at Bethel, Sullivan county, New York, April 13, 1857, and came west thirty years ago. Her maiden name was Anna L. Waddell, and she was married to William N. Beckett in 1888. Her husband and one son, Ralph, survive. There are two brothers and one sister, George Waddell, of Guilford; Fred Waddell, of Rockford, and Mrs. J.C. Cooper, of Middletown, N.Y.; one half-sister, Miss Hattie Waddell, and a half-brother, Holmes Waddell, of Bethel, N.Y.
