LULING SIGNAL-JULY 2, 1925
Jesse J. Watts, aged 40 years, son of Mr.and Mrs. Z.J.Watts, died at the family home Friday, June 26th and funeral services were conducted by Rev. Thos. McCarley, pastor of the McNeil Baptist Church.
Deceased, during the forty years spent with his dear old Mother, had been feeble in health, and his death came as a summons to join his loved ones gone on before. In spite of the fact that he is released from suffering many hearts were sad at his going.
He has gone where there is not suffering, pain or sorrow and where we shall all meet some glad sweet day. XXX
