Mrs. Elizabeth J. Paine, wife of N. S. Paine, for some years a resident of Putnam County, but now of Jacksonville, died Friday, after a long illness. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, interment being made in Oakland Memorial Cemetery, Jacksonville.
Mrs. Paine was a native of Pennsylvania. She came to Palatka with her husband many years ago, making their home in Putnam County. For the past fifteen years they had resided in Jacksonville.
