Anna G. Pedro, age 88, of Elwood, went to be with the Lord on July 13, 2011, at her residence surrounded by her family following an extended illness.
Anna was born on September 5, 1922, to Marion and Mary (McDaniel) Bucci in Elwood, IN. She married Joseph Pedro on Aug. 19, 1937, and he passed away on Jan. 11, 1984.
She was a life member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Elwood, member of the Altar Rosary Society, NCCW, Health Ministries, Extra-Ordinary Eucharistic Minister, Social Club at the Elwood YMCA, 50 Plus Club, and Stride with Pride.

Anna is survived by her:
3 Daughters -Teresa & husband Dan Nash of Elwood, Debbie & husband Al Kimbler of Windfall, and Marilyn & husband Bob Yeary of Tipton
2 Sons - Marion "Ted" & wife Jane Pedro of Elwood, and Jim & wife Ann Pedro of Kokomo
Brother - Joe Bucci of Elwood
Sister - Julia Elliott of Loogootee
12 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Granddaughter Maddilynn Grace Rushing
Several Nieces & Nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Joseph "Sonny" Pedro, daughter Catherine Pedro, 3 brothers Jerry, Orville, and Marion Bucci, and 5 sisters Lyndelle Morse, Ernestine Kohl, Elizabeth Frazee, Nancy Schwalm, and Helen Farley.

Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 18, 2011, at 11:00 AM, at St. Joseph Catholic Church of Elwood with Father Dan Duff officiating.
Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery in Elwood.
Visitation will be Sunday at Dunnichay Funeral Home in Elwood from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a Vigil service starting at 6:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers memorial donation may by made through the funeral home to St. Joseph Church Building Fund.
