William "Bill" Rudolph Geesaman, 49, of Sayre, Okla., died Sunday, March 10, 1991, at the Elk City Community Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, at the Rose Chapel, Sayre, Okla. Burial will be in the Carter Cemetery, under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
Mr. Geesaman was born Dec. 4, 1941, in Sioux City, the son of Rudolph and Lucille Geesaman. He married Ardis Kay Edward Sept. 25, 1958 in Sioux City. They lived in Sioux City, where he worked as a semi-truck driver. After he retired, they moved to Sayre, Okla., in 1985, where he launched a greyhound business.
He was a member of the Baptist Church in Iowa and Oklahoma for 33 years. He belonged to the Elks Club, the Oklahoma Greyhound Association and National Greyhound Association.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Debra Kay Geesaman of Elk City, Okla.; four sons, Rickie of Sioux City, Jeff of Denver, Colo., Troy of Elk City, Okla., and Brian of Deerfield, Fla.; three brothers, John of Vancouver, Wash., and Brian and Robert of Sioux City; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
