JOSE (JOE) HERRERA CHACON , 77 from Victorville, (May 12, 1935-September 2, 2012). Joe passed into the next life from complications due to pneumonia. He was surrounded by his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents: Alfredo Carrion & Antonia Herrera Chacon. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, DeShawna Chacon and their combined family of children: Joseph, Myra Jackson, Shirley Williams, Aida Williams [Ralph], Joyce Foster, Robert, [Robin], Lena Jenkins, Lisa Arnold, David Petruschin, Elizabeth Petruschin Mendez, [Mario], Nikolai Petruschin, Jose, Alfredo [Nicole], his sister Lupe Williams and brothers Domingo and Alberto, George and Mike Chacon, many nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Brother Chacon, as he is affectionately known, lived a life of service to others. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where he has served as: Home Teacher, Stake Sunday school Presidency, Employment Specialist and High Priest Group Leader. He will be greatly missed by all who know and love him. Services for Brother Chacon will be held on: Thursday, September 6, 2012 at 15330 Jeraldo Dr. Victorville, CA. [cross street Mojave Dr.] Viewing will be from 10:00-10:45 and services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Internment will be at Desert View Memorial Park along the freeway.
