Obituarie for Nellie G. Hulsey
Nellie G. Hulsey, 88 of Ethel, died Thursday morning,June 28,1990 at Pershing Memorial Hospital, Brookfield.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, July 2,at the Elliott Funeral Home in Atlanta. Rev. gene McCollum of Center will officiate. Burial will be in the Hull Cemetery north of Callao. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m.,sunday, at the funeral home.
she was born Dec.9, 1901 west of Ethel, the daughter of John L. and Joanna St. clair Williams.
On Sept. 20 1918 at Macon, she married Oliver Hershell King.He preceded her in death in 1953.
Surviving are one Daughter
Dorothy Lucille Baker of Elmer; nine grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 24 great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents, one brother, two sisters, a son, two grandsons, one great-granddaughter and one great-grandson.
she had resided in the Elmer and Ethel communities for several years and was a lifelong Macon county resident. She was emploued as a nursing home supervisor at the Adair county Nursing Home # 3 she had also been employed as a cook on the Santa Fe Railroad.
She was a graduate of Elmer High School and was a member of the Ethel Presbyterian Church.
