Died: The untimely death of John D. Hall has cast a gloom over the community. In the vigor and prime of life, surrounded by a fond wife and loving children, the fell destroyer takes him from their midst almost without warning; only a few days ago he was thrown from his horse breaking a leg and necessitated amputation, which caused his death. He died Thursday morning at 4 o'clock surrounded by sympathizing friends and relatives. He had been a resident of that community for about 30 years and was highly esteemed by his many friends and acquaintances. He leaves a wife and five children, who have the sympathy of the community in their great bereavement. The remains were interred in the Bokchito Cemetery under the Masonic auspices.
Wife's name was Maggie Howard Hall and children's names were George F., John E., Charles V., Albert and Ruth M.
